Tell it like it is: Using Targeted Feedback to Move Students to Action

For the past 13 years Andrea has been a middle school teacher, instructional coach and professional development coordinator.  Andreas passion in the classroom goes far beyond the content she delivers to students.  Andrea believes you can teach any student anything they desire to learn if you are able to deliver the content in a manner that reaches the middle school mind.  This includes highly efficient classroom management, a deep focus on getting students to look within and using feedback that is nutritionally wholesome for the student.  Andrea is the founding consultant for Confidence Consulting - sharing her ideas with the wider audience in the hopes of sparking new conversations, igniting ideas that spread and empowering each and every middle school educator to help their students achieve maximum personal greatness.

A gradate of the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Linguistics, Andrea went on to earn a dual Masters Degree in Special Education and Teaching and Learning from the University of Southern Maine.  In addition to teaching and designing professional development opportunities Andrea provides tutoring services to children in grades K-8, teaching the Lindamood-Bell reading program and does K-8 homeschool curriculum design and portfolio review and management.
